👋 Hey there,
LinkedIn posts getting crickets?
You're not boring. Your format is.
The LinkedIn Engagement Formula
Turns your expertise into posts people actually engage with.
📋 THE PROMPT:
Write a LinkedIn post about [TOPIC].
Structure using the Hook-Story-Lesson format:
Hook (first 2 lines - MUST grab attention):
Start with a bold statement, surprising stat, or relatable pain point
Make them want to click "see more"
Examples: "I lost $50K learning this lesson." or "Most people get [topic] wrong. Here's why:"
Story (middle section):
Share a specific example, case study, or personal experience
Include concrete details (numbers, names, specific situations)
Show the problem and how you/someone solved it
3-5 short paragraphs max
Lesson (final section):
Extract 3-5 key takeaways
Make them actionable
End with a question to drive comments
Tone: [professional/casual/thought-provoking] Length: 150-250 words (LinkedIn sweet spot)
🎯 HOW TO USE IT:
Pick one thing you learned this week
Describe the topic
Choose your tone
Generate the post
Add relevant hashtags (3-5 max)
Post and engage with comments
💡 PRO TIP: The hook is EVERYTHING. If the first 2 lines don't make someone click "see more," the rest doesn't matter. Test 3 different hooks before posting.
