👋 Hey there,

Losing deals to objections you can't answer?

This prompt prepares you for every pushback.

The Objection Handler Prompt

Creates confident responses to common sales objections.

📋 THE PROMPT:

Create objection handling scripts for [PRODUCT/SERVICE].

Sales context:

  • What I sell: [PRODUCT/SERVICE]

  • Price point: [COST]

  • Target customer: [WHO BUYS]

  • Main value prop: [KEY BENEFIT]

  • Sales cycle: [DAYS/WEEKS]

For each common objection, provide:

Objection 1: "It's too expensive"

  • Acknowledge

  • Reframe to value/ROI

  • Share example

  • Trial close

Objection 2: "Not the right time"

  • Uncover real reason

  • Create urgency (authentic)

  • Offer next step

Objection 3: "Need to think about it"

  • What specifically concerns them?

  • Address that concern

  • Set follow-up date

Objection 4: "Already using [competitor]"

  • What's missing?

  • Position difference

  • Switching support

Objection 5: "Need to talk to [decision maker]"

  • Who else needs to be convinced?

  • What matters to them?

  • Offer to present together

Objection 6: "Just looking/researching"

  • What would make today the day?

  • What's at stake?

  • Education vs. interest

For each response:

  • Show empathy first

  • Ask clarifying questions

  • Reframe perspective

  • Move to next step

🎯 HOW TO USE IT:

  1. List your most common objections

  2. Generate responses for each

  3. Practice out loud

  4. Role play with teammate

  5. Refine based on real conversations

💡 PRO TIP: The best objection handling isn't a script - it's genuine curiosity. Ask "Help me understand..." and actually listen. Most objections hide the real concern.
